Hurricane Irene

Hey everyone - hope this finds that you all fared well from Irene :-)

We are all well here but are without power.  So I wanted to check-in.  We live out in the country & I am not expecting power for the next few days.  Hopefully, i'll be pleasantly surprised but i'm not holding my breath!  We have a generator but it only runs a few things & not the A/C or our well pump - so no running water or cool air... so bug & I have evacuated to my parents while my hubby holds down the fort b/c he's still got to work.

Just wanted to let you'll know that we are well but that my posts will be sporadic until we are back home with power.
