Today is the first day of Virginia's Sales Tax Holiday for Hurricane Preparedness Week - May 25th - 31st. During this week Virginians are exempt from paying the 5% sales tax on select items, as long as they each are under $60 in value. Go here to view the list of exempt items. This is a great time to stock up if you are in need of anything on this list!
