Have you heard of, or joined, Groupon yet? I just joined because Groupon has finally entered the Richmond Market & I cannot wait to see the deals of the day!
What is Groupon? Each day, Groupon features an unbeatable deal on the best stuff to do, see, eat, and buy in your city. By promising businesses a minimum number of customers, we get discounts you won't find anywhere else. We call it "collective buying power!" The deals can be anything - dining deals, entertainment deals, shopping deals, etc. You don't even have to live in the specific area to snag the deal either- so this is a tremendous resource if you are getting ready to travel or take a vacation!
How to you get the deals? Just click "BUY" before the offer ends at midnight. If the minimum number of people sign up, your card will be charged and you'll be sent a link to print your Groupon. If not enough people join, no one gets it (and you won't be charged). If not enough people request the deal by midnight then the deal is cancelled & your card is NOT charged.
Most Groupon deals have expiration dates but most are very long off. These are also great gift ideas on special occasions -like Mother's Day! Groupon is currently running deals for 56 cities & growing fast! Locally - they have deals for Washington DC, Virginia Beach/Norfolk Area & now the Richmond Area!

Any idea when they will be posting coupons? According to their Facebook page, somebody asked this same question a month ago. Why aren't we seeing any coupons?
Patti, Zach & Molly's Mom - thats a really good question. I've been keeping an eye out on the Richmond Groupon b/c I really was looking forward to it. Only just in the past 2 weeks did I even see Richmond as a city. Certainly - not a month ago. So I am hoping that the coupons should be showing up very soon. They have such great deals for DC & Va Beach that I can't wait to see what we what offers will come our way!
